Food, Service, Atmosphere - Amazing! They prove time and time again that they truly are the best Lake Forest has to offer! We had a special event in the new Bru Gardens and we truly couldn’t have been more impressed. The entire Bru crew won over our whole party of 80 people! Every. Single. Person. We really appreciate all of the organized team work and attention to detail that made our event so special, and the food was delicious! Highly recommend for a family dinner, a large event/birthday party and everything in between!

We are long time fans of this place. Excellent locals vibe. Food is fantastic, cocktails are great. The desserts are outstanding...especially the chocolate Bru cake. My wife loves the Risotto. I usually get the sausage trio because I enjoy it so much. Sauerkraut, potatoes, 3 mustards, and 3 different types of sausage. The flatbreads are great, and the Mac and cheese and calamari are always big hits with our family. You cant go wrong here.

I visited Bru Grill & Market Restaurant this Sunday afternoon without a reservation, and despite the busy atmosphere, the staff were incredibly professional and efficient. They organized a waiting list and kept us informed via text, resulting in only a brief 20-minute wait before being seated. The food was excellent, and our waiter provided great recommendations, ensuring everyone enjoyed their meal. I will definitely return and recommend Brew to others. Overall, a wonderful experience!

My friend and I had a great experience here. I ordered the short rib risotto and my friend got the fish and chips. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and they gave us a lovely dessert. The service was fantastic.

We visited this restaurant for the first time to celebrate a birthday, and everything was perfect. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and we especially loved that it’s dog-friendly. The staff were genuinely friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious — every dish we tried was full of flavor. The owner and our server were both so kind and attentive, which made the evening even more special. You can really feel the care they put into their service. This place has easily become one of our new favorites. If you haven’t been yet, we highly recommend giving it a try!

We came here for Sunday brunch and had a fantastic time. We had a group of 8 and there were nothing but raving reviews of the food. Cody was our server, gave us excellent recommendations, kept everyone tipped up, and was very helpful and kind. This is going to be a regular sport for us.

Very nice place with a diverse menu of truly delicious foods. We had a reservation and there was no wait at all on the Sunday night when we arrived. Parking was no problem Our waiter was enthusiastic and very good. He allowed us to take our time to make choices from the extensive menu. We started with an appetizer of calamari which was generous for the six of us. We had a Filet Mignon, a Hawaiian Ribeye, Salmon, chicken tacos, and a Cheeseburger. Every meal was delicious. We all shared food and all agreed that every thing was great. For dessert we shared the chocolate cake and a crème brûlée. Yummy 😋 We will definitely return.

I was recommended this restaurant by my good gf Dee so I booked this restaurant for my other gf Mia bday brunch celebration. Love the idea of bottomless mimosa only $18 with any entree selections on the brunch/lunch menu. Side orders and appetizers not apply. Plenty of parking. We ordered lots of food and got to try different dishes. We pretty much satisfied. Love the restaurant vibes too.

I've probably ordered from Bru Grill more times than I can count, and it's easily one of my go-to spots. Whether I'm dining in, sitting at the bar, or ordering through DoorDash, the food is consistently excellent. The chicken sandwich is one of my favorites, but you really can't go wrong with the burgers, especially with the drunken onions. The beef dip is also outstanding. Even the desserts are worth saving room for, and the bread pudding is always a solid choice. I've spent plenty of time at the bar over the years, and it's always a great atmosphere. Perfect place to grab a craft beer, watch a game, and enjoy a good meal. As a Marine veteran, I also appreciate that they regularly do something special for veterans on Veterans Day. It's nice to see a local independent restaurant supporting the military community. One thing that stands out is how well they handle takeout and delivery. Everything is packaged carefully, sauces are separated, and food arrives the way it's supposed to. I haven't had a chance to check out the new beer garden yet, but it's definitely on my list. Bru Grill has been consistently delivering great food and service for years, and I'll keep coming back.
